88 GOAL. GREECE 1 SPAIN 2 - Guiza heads his first goal for Spain after a perfect cross from Sergio Garcia.
86 SUBSTITUTION - Greece striker Dimitris Salpigidis makes way for midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos.
73 SUBSTITUTION - Greece midfielder Alexandros Tziolis makes his first Euro 2008 appearance coming on for fellow midfielder Karagounis.
73 ACTION - Guiza then goes close when a deflected ball falls into his path but his shot flashes just wide.
72 YELLOW CARD - Angelos Basinas unceremoniously upends Guiza and is booked.

54 ACTION - Alonsi goes agonisingly close to drawing Spain level, his drive from 25 metres completely beats Nikopolidis but rebounds away off the inside of the post.

42 GOAL. GREECE 1 SPAIN 0 - Greece score with a powerful Angelos Haristeas header into the corner after Karagounis curls a free kick into the box. It is the 2004 champions' first goal of this tournament.
41 YELLOW CARD - Spain's Daniel Guiza is booked for arguing with referee Howard Webb over a contested free kick.
